Playstation Vita Gets Skype
According to the official Playstation Blog, the Vita is finally getting a Skype app. The Skype app will feature high-quality video calling from the front-facing camera, the option to use the rear camera, and will allow the use of headsets – including Bluetooth. The Skype app also has the capability of running as a background application, so you can game while in a call – and can access call info from the home screen.
The Skype application also gives users with Skype credit or a monthly account make phone calls from their Vita. 800-numbers are free, as always.
