Nintendo Power Magazine Closes After 24 Years

After 24 years of publishing Nintendo Power Magazine, Nintendo has quietly announced the ending of its monthly subscriptions. According to the article on Ars Technica, Nintendo cites slowing demand in their magazine and the overall death of paper publication.

We’ll see what Nintendo puts out officially, as the original Twitter posts were pulled. I’m thinking a switch to digital distribution, much like Game Informer did last year.
