iPhone 5 Preorders Begin 9/14 @ 3AM EST
AT&T, Verizon, and Sprint are holding iPhone 5 Pre-orders in a few hours here, beginning at 3AM EST. If it’s anything like last year, the websites will no-doubt be bogged down with the hundreds of thousands – no, millions of people all making their pre-orders. Hopefully they’ve learned from the last few years.
Couple of tips if you are looking to keep your grandfathered “unlimited data” plans on AT&T & Verizon:
- Make sure you add nothing onto your existing plan, including devices & tethering
- Make sure you do not opt into the new family shared data plan
- Read what you’re agreeing to – can’t stress that one enough
- If your plan is said to change, be prepared to call in and
bitchcomplain politely.. at least at first
