Imported Hardware & Software Comes Pre-infected
A top Homeland Security official, Greg Schaffer, states that computer software and hardware are being imported into the US infected with spyware, malware, and trojan horses. These comments were at at a hearing of House Oversight and Government Reform Committee, which is considering a proposal to the Obama Administration to monitor computer equipment imported for government usage.
