DISH Network Finally Settles Voom HD Lawsuit – AMC Returning Tonight
DISH Network Finally settled their lawsuit with VOOM HD, which blocked millions of subscribers from watching AMC shows over the past few months. AMC will be live tonight in time for the second episode of season 3 of The Waking Dead.
DISH Network will be paying $700 million plus its 20 percent stake in Voom in the settlement and is supposed to receive 500MHz of video and data spectrum licenses in 45 areas.
Dish and Cablevision worked a deal out that week bring AMC Network’s Fuse, IFC, WE TV, & Sundance for the first time starting November 1st.
