Apple iOS5 Download & Activation Issues – Discounted App Store Prices
With all the issues with the iPhone 4S Activations today, it appears that issues aren’t just limited to AT&T. iTunes has been incredibly slow for users all day, and at some points wasn’t allowing current iPhone users to download iOS 5 updates for their phone. I’m currently in the middle of downloading an update for a friend’s phone here, and the download less than 50KB/s. I would recommend using one of the many mirror sites available – just match the model of your phone. There are plenty of tutorials on how to update your phone manually.
On the light-hearted side of the issues, iTunes has reduced the price of hundreds of iOS applications, ranging from HD Games to small applications. Some of the items have been marked down to free, so hurry up and get some great deals!
