7970 Benchmarks Released
AnandTech got ahold of a 7970 and got some pre-release benchmarks and a review. With Catalyst 12.1 drivers, its performing about 20-30% faster than the 6970 and the 580. The current launch price is speculated to be $549, which places it around $249 more than the cheapest 6970, so right now its priced too damn high.
