T-Mobile Prepaid Gets Some Nice Refreshes – $70 Unlimited Data, LG Optimus L9, Aspect 3G

T-Mobile’s prepaid service is getting a few new refreshes this month. The top one on the list is an update to their $70 Unlimited plan, which originally gave 5GB of 4G data. The $70 Unlimited Monthly 4G plan will no longer have throttling starting January 9th. T-Mobile made the move to the truly-unlimited data with their contract plans back in September, so it was only a matter of time before this hit their prepaid services.

Next up, there are a few new devices coming to the prepaid service, including the LG Optimus L9 and the ZTE Aspect 3G. The LG Optimus L9 features a Dual-core 1Ghz Cortex-A9, 4.7″ qHD (960 x 540) IPS display, and is running Android 4.0. The L9 is set to be priced at $199 for Walmart stores and is currently available for $249 on T-Mobile’s website with a $50 prepaid card.

The T-Mobile branded ZTE Aspect is supposed to be hitting the shelves shortly for around $70 on the prepaid plan. The T-Mobile Aspect is an entry-level texting phone with a few extra features, such as a 3G modem and a built-in GPS. No word on if the phone will have a built-in navigation feature.
