New Xbox One Controllers Feature Bluetooth, Allowing Easy Connection with PCs
With the launch of the new Xbox Design Lab by Microsoft, we found out that the customizable controllers come with a lot more than we thought.
As already noted, users can customize their controllers with over 8 million different color combinations. After we played around for some time, we noticed that the controllers have the following features that was never seen before on an Xbox One Controller:
- Bluetooth® for easy wireless gaming on Windows 10 devices
- For Xbox One and Windows 7/8.1/10
- Compatible with Xbox One Play & Charge Kit, Chat Headset, Stereo Headset, Chatpad and more
- Textured grip for more control
- Up to 40 foot range with Xbox One S (Xbox One Slim)
- Remap buttons through the Xbox Accessories app
- Includes 3.5mm stereo headset jack and (2) AA batteries
This is a major upgrade since previously, users had to connect their Xbox One controllers using a micro-USB cable, or purchase the Xbox One Wireless Adapter.
