New Xbox One Controllers Feature Bluetooth, Allowing Easy Connection with PCs

Custom controller with colors: Regal Purple, Robot White, Abyss Black
With the launch of the new Xbox Design Lab by Microsoft, we found out that the customizable controllers come with a lot more than we thought.

As already noted, users can customize their controllers with over 8 million different color combinations. After we played around for some time, we noticed that the controllers have the following features that was never seen before on an Xbox One Controller:

  • Bluetooth® for easy wireless gaming on Windows 10 devices
  • For Xbox One and Windows 7/8.1/10
  • Compatible with Xbox One Play & Charge Kit, Chat Headset, Stereo Headset, Chatpad and more
  • Textured grip for more control
  • Up to 40 foot range with Xbox One S (Xbox One Slim)
  • Remap buttons through the Xbox Accessories app
  • Includes 3.5mm stereo headset jack and (2) AA batteries

This is a major upgrade since previously, users had to connect their Xbox One controllers using a micro-USB cable, or purchase the Xbox One Wireless Adapter.
